Samastah provides a community space for physical, emotional and spiritual growth by guiding students to self inquiry and self acceptance through the teachings of ancient traditions and the yogic science of self evolution.
Sound Journey with Sura
Saturday January 25th at 7pm
Sura will be tuning to the room with harmonium, tampura, saxophone, clarinet, percussion and bass, while you, the active, the restful, the dancer, the writer, the thinker, the painter will have time to go inward in what ever ways you choose.
This experience is unlike any other. One does not attend this event. One participates in their own unique way as Sura plays with them, not to them.
Whether you want to journal and draw, practice asana or even sleep, your presence is key to the experience.

with chocolate and roses
February 14th at 8pm $33
2/14 sets a theme of love, hearts,
and affection for us to come together to soothe, charge, and heal our own heart space. The gongs give each listener a unique experience as the tones are processed by the brain, slowing the nervous system into an effortlessly meditative experience. As the body relaxes, the gongs work to restore harmony on a cellular level. The heart is the greatest generator of electrical activity in the body, making this the primary receiver and healing center during a gong meditation.
Experience how it feels to awaken from a cosmic soundscape, refreshed and recharged at the core, to beautiful music and raw chocolates made with sacred herbs to help integrate and elevate. Each person will receive a rose and crystal matched to them to remember this heart-opening experience, and return to the feeling at any time.
Please dress comfortable and warm, and bring a blanket if you’d like. Drink plenty of water and avoid a heavy foods prior. Pajamas are warmly welcomed, even recommended.

Jnana is the path of inquiry and contemplation. Every human at some point in their life will begin to ask the questions, who am I, where did I come from, and what will happen when I die? These questions are of great importance in Jnana Yoga but Ramana Maharshi would remind you to focus on finding out who the seer is before worrying about where you came from and where you’ll go.
